Bill Johnson was the man who really bought Triumph to America. Triumph was already in America through a dealer in Michigan who also sold Ariel and other British bike brands but Johnson was the ‘Official’ Triumph distributor for the West Coast and was instrumental in making Triumph® the most popular bike brand in the US.
This tribute bike started as an image of ‘the man’ and his machine. This was style and freedom personified by a businessman who saw the potential for the Triumph® motorcycle brand in the USA.
